National CACFP Week is March 16-22, 2025
What is National CACFP Week?
National CACFP Week (English and Spanish) is a national education and information campaign sponsored annually the third week of March by the National CACFP Sponsors Association. It is designed to raise awareness of how the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) works to combat hunger.
We appreciate each of our CACFP operators for all the time, energy, and effort put into serving nourishing meals in your programs!

In partnership with DECAL and Voices for Georgia's Children, a map was created to display the following data at the census tract level: all Georgia childcare providers, CACFP and Non-CACFP, 0-4 population, poverty rates, and low-income, low-access defined areas. View the map here
What is CACFP?
The CACFP is a federally funded program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to children and adults in a day care environment. Providers include child care centers, day care homes, afterschool care programs, adult day care centers, and emergency shelters. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children and adults across the U.S.
