DECAL PROGRAM GUIDANCE ON POST-PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY RESOURCES
Pursuant to a February 9, 2023, declaration by the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) came to an end on May 11, 2023. This resulted in the expiration of the few remaining COVID-19 PHE waivers:
- Reimbursement for Meals and Snacks Served to Young Adults (CACFP) - expired May 11, 2023
- Onsite Monitoring Requirements for Sponsors (CACFP) – expired June 10, 2023
- Temporary higher per-meal reimbursement rates (CACFP) - expired June 30, 2023
- Temporary higher tier I reimbursement rates for tier II family day care homes (CACFP) - expired June 30, 2023
- Non-Congregate Meal Services Parent (CACFP) – expired June 30, 2023
- Parent/Guardian Meal Pickup (CACFP) – expired June 30, 2023
- Meal Service Times (CACFP) – expired June 30, 2023
