Curriculum

Georgia’s Pre-K conducted a curriculum review during the 2019 – 2020 school year. The purpose of the curriculum review and approval process is to identify curriculum models that best support Georgia’s Pre-K programs and are optimally aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). The process resulted in an approved curriculum list for Georgia’s Pre-K Programs.

In the document list below, DECAL has included one-page summaries of all approved curricula. These summaries should be used as a resource as providers make decisions regarding the curriculum they feel best suits the needs of their Pre-K program.

If you are a state-funded Georgia’s Pre-K Program and you would like to change your curriculum, complete the Curriculum Change Form, Appendix G of the Pre-K Operating Guidelines and submit the completed form to your Pre-K Specialist. The form is also included in the document list below.

For more information, feel free to email questions to PreK@decal.ga.gov
