Resilient Georgia

Resilient Georgia

Resilient Georgia offers a range of professional development opportunities and resources to support early care and learning professionals, parents, and caregivers in building resilient communities.

Explore trainings such as the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)—developed by the Trauma Resource Institute—which introduces six practical wellness skills to help individuals understand and respond to stress and trauma.

Resilient Georgia is also advancing a trauma-informed workforce through its Infant & Early Childhood (IEC) Professional Development Course, a free, self-paced learning opportunity for early childhood professionals across Georgia. The course integrates the latest science on child development with practical CRM skills and offers DECAL-approved training hours, along with opportunities to connect with peers through a statewide learning community.

Resilient Georgia’s Trauma-Informed Early Care Guide supports early childcare centers in their path to becoming trauma-informed by creating safe, relationship-centered environments. The guide also highlights uplifting policies and practices across Georgia that support children, families, and educators.

Additional resources include the Resiliency Zones Guide, a curated parent/caregiver resource page, a “Take Time to Connect” parenting video, and Learning Cards, which help build a shared language around PACEs, resilience, and healing. Connect with your regional coalition here!
