Infant Toddler Program Training Opportunities
The Infant Toddler Team can facilitate FREE state-approved trainings for infant and toddler teachers. All trainings can be presented virtually or in-person at your location. Participants are not allowed to count within classroom ratios during training sessions. Trainings vary in length from 1 to 6 hours.

Challenging Behavior Participants will understand how routines can be used as teaching moments and how to use language to reduce challenging behavior. |

Counting on You: Early Math Skills for Infants and Toddlers Participants will learn about the importance of building early math skills and math development with infants & toddlers. |

Intentional Planning Participants will learn the importance of lesson planning and the impact it has on a child’s development. |

Intentional Teaching Participants will understand how to plan in a way that meets the individual needs of children. |

Introduction to Brain Development Participants will learn how early experiences affect the development of brain architecture, identify factors that support & foster brain development, and identify early risk factors of healthy brain development. |

More than Just Routines Participants will examine their current teaching practices around caregiving routines and their impact on infant and toddler learning. |

Responsive Caregiving Participants will learn how to "tune in" to children and what they are telling you to meet their needs. |

Social-Emotional Development: Building Relationships and the Learning Environment Participants will learn the importance of building a relationship with children and understand how to create classroom environments that are nurturing and responsive to children’s needs. |
