Georgia Child Care Heroes Honored at Greenbrier Preschool to Introduce the Quality Rated Annual $500 Workforce Bonus
On April 24, 2025, Commissioner Amy M. Jacobs of the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) visited The Greenbrier Preschool in Evans, GA to announce an historic investment in Georgia’s child care workforce.
Qualified staff and teachers at Greenbrier Preschool - along with over 34,000 educators statewide - will receive an annual $500 Workforce Bonus through DECAL’s new Quality Rated Workforce Bonuses initiative.
Following DECAL’s announcement of the $500 bonuses, Greenbrier Preschool’s dedicated teachers and staff were publicly recognized for their hard work.
Cali, the DECAL mascot, made a special appearance at Greenbrier Preschool, where students enjoyed an exciting and playful visit.
