Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) provides resources for child care and early learning programs that make a commitment to improve the quality of services they provide. Below are opportunities supported by the Department of Early Care and Learning Funds through competitive grants (RFA/RFP), or program applications to support these improvement efforts. EXPAND Grants
Expanding Parents’ Access to Nontraditional Delivery (EXPAND) Grants are for businesses, government entities, and nonprofit organizations to support families with child care needs during non-traditional hours (evenings, early mornings, weekends, and variable shift schedules). DECAL is accepting proposals for the grants between June 22 and July 17, 2023. Information about the proposal and other resources related to the EXPAND Grants are available below.
