DECAL Working Remotely Due To COVID-19

While DECAL staff are working remotely due to COVID-19, please do not send postal mail to the office. Please feel free to email licensing applications to CCSASUAdmin@decal.ga.gov. Please ensure the documents are in PDF format. You may also fax applications for licensing to 770-357-7031.

If you are interested in opening a Child Care Learning Center (CCLC), you must participate in the Child Care Learning Center Licensing Orientation (CCO) prior to submitting an application for license. CCO is required for all CCLC applicants. CCO registration can be found on the Georgia Professional Development System for Early Educators (GaPDS) www.gapds.decal.ga.gov.

Once on the GaPDS website, click on the "Training" drop down box and find "OLLI Trainings" which will take you to the CCO registration.

Bright from the Start requires that prior to the issuance of an initial license, the director of a Child Care Learning Center (CCLC/effective 10/01/05) complete a 40-hour Director's Training course that has been approved by the Department. Click here.
