CACFP New Applicant Training (Prospective Applicants)
Organizations wanting to operate the CACFP under a direct agreement with Bright from the Start must attend a two-day training, offered once a month at a location that alternates between the Atlanta and Macon area.

The training includes information on Bright from the Start, CACFP eligibility requirements, nutrition and menu planning, record keeping, and other essential CACFP information. Applications for the CACFP are distributed at the end of the two-day training. To register for this training, contact 404.657.1779.

CACFP Annual Training (Participating Institutions)
Every CACFP participant must complete training annually to continue or renew participation in the program. Annual training usually deals with administrative and programmatic topics and is conducted online or by DVD.

Information on CACFP annual training is sent via e-mail directly to the Institution's Program Contact who is responsible for completing this training online on the CNP2000 website. Registration for online training also occurs through the CNP2000 website.

CACFP Quarterly Training (Participating Institutions)
Nutrition Services offers quarterly CACFP training on various topics. In most cases attendance at quarterly training is not mandatory; CACFP participants may choose not to attend unless instructed otherwise. The dates and topics are displayed on the CNP2000 splash page at https://www.cnp2000.decal.ga.gov/Splash.asp. Notification via e-mail is also sent to organizations that provide an e-mail address in their CACFP application. Registration occurs through the CNP 2000 website.
